Yay! They were so pretty up close!...November 7, 2009 Friday 15 candidates visited Los Banos, Laguna through the efforts of PAGCOR. They were divided into 3 teams just as we at Kabalikat Civicom Los Banos were. We handled the tent city evacuation center at Barangay Tadlac. With us were Ms. Guatemala, Ms. El Salvador, and Ms. Tahiti. I was fortunate to be able to ride with them at their coaster (Intrigues aside LOL a private joke with my kabalikat civicom family).... They had photo ops in their clean up drive and food feeding project. They were very friendly and definitely NOT primadonnas. They cleaned up the backyard and a little trash dumpsite at the evacuation center. Amazing to see lovely ladies sweeping and cleaning up someone else's trash. It was a very hot friday afternoon and we only had sprite and bottled water to thirst our quench in the site but I heard no complains. Nor did I hear any when they were not excused to experience the well known LB traffic at 5pm. On our way to Trace, I saw teardrops from Hamy-Ms. Guatemala's eyes as she explained she was sad to see all the people suffering because of the calamities. She was the outgoing and friendly one, she volunteered to have pictures taken with her (and reminding us she has to have a copy of it all LOL). Snacks were provided when we reached Trace College. They stayed at Trace Suites for the night too. Before we left Trace, we received a warm and cheerful wave from Graciela-Ms El Salvador. Here are some more photos I took...
